What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

We believe in one True God eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

We believe the Bible is the true, infallible, and inspired word of God.  It tells the story of God's love for His creation and His continual pursuit of Humanity.  It is also the completely dependable guide for faithful Christian living.

We believe our sin breaks relationship with God and that salvation (forgiveness) is experienced by sincere faith in God's grace accomplished through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ alone is Savior.

We believe individuals who make a personal confession of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord should be baptized and, in order to grow in their relationship with God, should make a commitment to a local group of believers (a church).

We believe the Church is comprised of believers who are called to worship together, love each other deeply, and hold one another accountable for a Christ-like walk of faith.

We believe God calls all Christians to share the Good News of Jesus around the world, starting within our own homes and communities.

We believe that God calls us to seek peace in all our relationships.  And since peace only exists in relationship with God, we seek to draw others to Christ so that peace may abound with God and with one another.
